This course is a two Spiral journey, the first for a year and a day, the second a nine month incubation as Sacred Celebrant and Ceremonialist, ending in a self contained stage of development: Sister/Brother and Priestess/Priest.
At the end of the first year you will have a firm understanding of the power and the presence in this world, at this time, of the Goddess Cerridwen. Of the seasonal connections with Mother Earth, the aspects of the Goddess as Swynwraig (witchy wise woman), the Seer, The Wisdom Keeper and Bard (Beirdd), the Calon o Cariad: Heart of Love in the world.
Cerridwen Light of the World
"From the darkness the light is born."
The Celtic Goddess of Inspiration, Healer of our Soul, She is still invoked at the Welsh Eisteddfod of Poetry each year.
“Her chair is the exalted one”.
The journey, ney the quest, to be admitted to the mysteries of the labyrinthine path, is a journey into Self Empowerment. Each year I hear the wonder and see the joy blossoming in my students, as they discover magical powers and psychic connections, they never knew they had. The world becomes a multi dimensional realm filled with Beings like dragons, faeries, and spirits of place.
Cerridwen
Cerridwen is the Dark Goddess in the Wheel of Avalon.
The content of this course is rooted in my own work as a Wiccan Priestess as She is the witch, the Swynwraig (wise woman/Shamanka) of the wheel.
We work with Her as a Goddess of the Druids, for She is the one who was the Inspiratrix of the Bards.
Our tradition is built on the Glastonbury Goddess Temple's Avalonian Tradition, introduced and developed by Kathy Jones, whom we honour as foremother of the Goddess movement in Glastonbury.
At the start of 2023, ten years after establishing this course, it became evident that we had outgrown the confines of the Goddess Temple and the new Temple College of Avalon was born.
Like the ancient colleges of the Celtic people, we now include other courses from a variety of topics and traditions.

It is said that the early Celts were head hunters, believing the wisdom a person learned throughout their life was kept in the receptacle of the head, which was also the seat of the soul.
Our modern day Bards channel songs, poems, story and channeled messages from the Ancestors of blo
